Joseph Valery 'aka' Little Joe Blue (1934-1990) Blues singer, born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Active in Detroit during the 1950s, in the early 1960s moving to Los Angeles where he started recording in 1963. A minor hit with "Dirty Work Going On" in 1966 led to further singles for Checker and Jewel, and in the 1970s and 1980s albums for small labels.
