"Trans-Siberian Orchestra" ("TSO") — музыкальный проект композиторов Пола О'Нила и Роберта Кинкеля и вокалиста Джона Оливы ("Savatage"), основанный в 1996 году в США. Название было взято от Транс-Сибирской магистрали в России. Рок-оркестр исполняет музыку, смешивающую тяжёлый рок с классической музыкой. Жанр "TSO" определяли как симфоник-, прогрессив- или неоклассик-метал или рок. Все альбомы группы являются концептуальными рок-операми, в записи которых принимали участие звезды рок- и поп-музыки, а также живые детские хоры. Основной тематикой текстов и альбомов является Рождество, рождественские сказки, многие из композиций являются ремейками известных рождественских песен. В состав группы-оркестра входят тридцать шесть музыкантов, в том числе четырнадцать вокалистов.
